Harke Auctioneers Estate Auction and Appraisal Division Empathy, Involvement, Integrity and Honesty. The Hallmark of our Estate Auction & Appraisal Division.
We believe an Estate Auction is more than selling someone’s personal property. We keep in mind we are also selling a life time of memories. Auctioneers school, then working as a ringman, for some of the best auctioneers in town, then additional studies and courses through the educational department of the National Auctioneers Associated and thirteen years of experience, have taught us valuable lessons in closing a personal estate, or perhaps your downsizing and moving to a smaller residence. We believe it also takes compassion and understanding. This particular time can be very stressful. That is why it is important for us to meet with you, your family or attorneys to develop a plan that is best suited to meet your needs. “Communication” a very important word in our process.
Estate Auctions can be conducted on site or the personal property can be moved into a large sale with other Estates, we discuss all of the options to sell your property with you and together determine which method will be best suited for you. Another important word in our process is “Reasonable Expections”. We will discuss with you the auction market, trends and prices that change constantly. We will not make promises we cannot keep. In fact one of the definitions of true value is: That price which is received on a certain day at a certain time by a willing seller and willing buyer. We want you to completely understand our process before signing any contract. We will not guantee you a fixed price that your prized procession will sell for, how could we?
We look forward to working with you.Ron Harke ![]() |
